Engineering Positions
- Transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD)
into working documents - Ensures drawings and designs adhere to established specifications and standards
- Designs and develops layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution
- Updates drawings based on as-built installation
- Experience in electric relay controls systems
- Experience with schematic diagrams for the electric power industry
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor or equivalent degree
- Four plus years of electrical drafting/design experience
- Good understanding of the current National Electrical Code Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD v2010 or higher
- Has knowledge of commonly-used control system concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical automated controls field
- Involves industrial electrical automated control system design, programs, documentation, equipment specifications and selection, control panel fabrication, modifications, calibration, maintenance and repairs through researching, analyzing and applying automated electrical control concepts
- Completes typical installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required
- Provides accurate project as-build and commissioning documentation
- Checkout procedures
- Start-up procedures
- Administer logical programming and HMI design
- Take a hands-on approach and is actively involved in all aspects of projects
Qualifications
- BS Electrical Engineering or Technology Degree
- Four plus years of practical experience
- Working knowledge and experience with current applicable electrical design codes and standards
- Available to travel out of state periodically
- Skill, knowledge and ability to prepare electrical equipment specifications for purchase of equipment
- Knowledge and skills necessary to perform electrical engineering system calculations including equipment loading, fault current, arc flash and protective device coordination studies and analysis
- Areas of experience shall include electrical engineering for industrial installations and facilities; medium voltage substations or distribution systems; and/or institutional electrical power distribution systems
- Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E codes
- Working knowledge and proficient use of, computer assisted engineering programs (SKM, ETAP or others)

- BS Electrical Engineering – EIT or PE a plus
- Four plus years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge and experience with current applicable electrical design codes and standards
- Knowledge and proficient use of AutoCad
- Available to travel out of state periodically
